Preaching the Gospel on the Campuses, A.T.

The Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) was established by Witness Lee. I came to the FTTA after I graduated from San Francisco State University in 2000. I had a heart for training by the Lord, but I didn't know when I would go to the Full-Time Training. Before my graduation I had fellowship with the brothers in the local church in San Francisco. They decided to support me in the FTTA for two years. Now I am in my third term of training. I remember that I consecrated myself to the Lord for the Full-Time Training when I went to a summer, one-week training in Irvine, California in 1997. Praise the Lord, He remembered this consecration and brought me to the FTTA.

In the FTTA, I am being trained to be a normal Christian and to have a burden to preach the gospel to others. Before coming to the training, I thought I was a Christian who loved the Lord.

Through God's mercy, I have seen more of what God Himself wants. The more light shines into my regenerated spirit, I confess to the Lord that I need Him more. I pray He would keep me in His presence and train me to be a normal Christian and a functioning member of the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:16). God has a pleasure in His heart (Ephesians 1:5). He wants to gain a group of people for His expression. Today He has only one goal. We call this goal His economy. Ephesians 1:10 says, “Unto the economy of the fullness of the times to head up all things in Christ the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in Him.” Today God works Himself into us so that we take Him as our life. He dispenses His riches in Christ into us and we enjoy Him (Colossians 3:4; Ephesians 3:8; 1 Corinthians 10:3-4). God wants us to enjoy Him as our life. How can we enjoy Him in our daily life as Christians? I appreciate in the FTTA we have time to go out and preach the gospel. First we go to tell people that when God created man, He breathed into man's nostrils the breath of life (Genesis 2:7). Then man was a living person. This means that human beings have a human spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, “May your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete”. We see that man has three parts in him, the spirit, the soul, and the body. The body is simply the physical body. It is for contacting the things of the material realm. The soul is the mental faculty, belonging to the psychological level, contacting the things of the mental realm. The human spirit is the deepest part of man, belonging to the spiritual realm, and contacts the things of God. For contacting God, we need to use our spirit to touch Him (John 4:24). Many times, when people know about this matter--that the human spirit is to receive God--they turn their heart to the Lord to repent and they begin to enjoy Him as their life. My gospel partner and I go to campus to tell people about their human spirit and bring them to know how to enjoy God. I feel so renewed and refreshed that every day I go to the campus with my gospel partner because we talk to people about God.
